My name is John Phillips and I am the founder of Buildplans. I have spent my life in the building trade, starting on site before following in my fathers footsteps. He was an Architect & Structural Engineer. Buildplans is set apart from similar companies. Upon invitation I visit site for consultation with a prospective client. At this meeting I draw rough sketches to interpret the requirements after they have informed me of there wishes. I will then measure the property as required. On return to me office the plans are drawn, scanned and emailed to the client for their perusal within the week. I will then talk them through so they fully understand. At this time changes may be necessary until the client is satisfied. The next step is for me to work in collaboration with Suzanne ready for her to run through the planning stage...
My unique and easy to read plans are met with appraisal by builders and local authorities as they provide a simple and consolidated detail of the project. The majority of our work is within the M25 Such Central London local authorities include Camden, Westminster, Tower Hamlets, City of London, Hackney, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Hammersmith & Fulham, Lewisham, Newham, Wandsworth, Hackney, Greenwich and Southwark.
We also draw plans for properties in Outer London local authorities including Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Croydon, Ealing, East Herts, Elmbridge, Enfield, Epping Forest, Epsom & Ewell, Guildford, Haringey, Harrow, Havering, Hertsmere, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kingston upon Thames, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Merton, Reigate & Banstead, Richmond Upon Thames, Sutton & Barking & Dagenham.

I am a keen bike enthusiast and use this as my mode of transport to carry out my site visits. This allows me to be on time to appointments regardless of the traffic congestion.
